Dr. Darryl Glover, host and creator of the De Focus Media Podcast, Optometry’s #1 Podcast, had the opportunity to sit down with De Rigo Rem, Sr. Key Accounts Director Talia Bruno, yesterday evening. The pair discussed resilient relationships and how important they are in business and life in general. Talia shared how she has built resilient relationships and how they’ve served her in her professional and personal life. They also discussed the importance of mentorship and how impactful having the right mentor can be as a committed partner in your success.

The pair went on to discuss Talia’s involvement with the Optical Women’s Association and the impact that the OWA has on the optical industry. Talia received the 2023 Optical Woman’s Association’s Emerging Leader Award, this year in New York, at the organization’s champagne breakfast. It was in her acceptance speech for the award that Talia shared how the impact that relationships she’s built have propelled and supported her in the optical industry. Upon hearing this speech, Dr. Glover knew he wanted to learn more about Talia’s ability to build resilient business relationships.

Talia spoke from her heart and provided incredible wisdom to those looking to develop, foster and grow strong relationships. The podcast ended with Dr. Glover asking Talia for her number one piece of advice to leave with all of the listeners and viewers. Talia’s answer was profound and impactful. Talia said, “When it feels scary to jump, that’s when you jump because if you’re staying in the same place your whole life, you’re not taking the right risks.”
